Time to Jump? May 21, 2203

I just heard from my boss's boss's boss at work, that they might be able to get around the blacklist that got slapped on my genome. I might be able to join a gestalt!

I don't want to get my hopes up -- I mean, it's not like I wasn't blacklisted for a good reason. I've got this genetic... well, the Unity considers it a flaw. It was a modification my 'dad' made to our genetic line when he set up the trust fund to have us cloned, and by 'our' I mean 'his'. It wasn't the only modification -- last I checked I wasn't a human male, either. He's kind of embarassed about the whole thing now, of course. We don't talk much. Anyway, the modification can seriously fuck with a gestalt link.

But I do work for Technodyne, and we're always fucking around with things like the gestalt link, so maybe they've got a new rev of the software or something, that works around my disability?

I've got to admit that I'm a *little* nervous -- ha ha ha, I'm scared out of my mind. But all my friends jumped off this bridge when I was young, and they're better off for it. Plus, even if it's not going to suddenly make me into a genius super-scientist or anything, having some first-hand experience with the stuff I've been working on has to help understand it.

What will we *call* ourselves, though? Some of the gestalts I know have really awful names. Gah, maybe I should call the whole thing off!!!
