Lazar's game again tonight... I was only half awake through the whole thing, unfortunately, and when I got home I was still only half awake, and couldn't watch the shows I had taped (I'll watch them tomorrow). I'm awake enough to write this update before I forget what happened, though. With ice-cream assistance.
I think I'm coming down with a cold. Pretty soon I'm going to have to close the windows and turn on the heater, for the winter, but I'd like to put it off as long as possible, since having the windows open means I can breathe. Air is good.
Anyway... ( game summaryCollapse ) Current Mood: tired
I woke up this morning and was kind of cold, so when it came time to drive down to Wonderworld Comics to pick up the next order form (and any comics that had come in since last week) I decided to wear my coat.
When I got outside, though, it was pretty warm, and sunny, so the inside of my car was even warmer. So, when I turned on the heater full blast, to keep the engine from exploding (I made an appointment to get it fixed but it'll be a few days), it was really *really* hot and after fifteen minutes or so I was starting to feel kind of dizzy, and opened the window, letting in some refreshing carbon monoxide fumes.
I made it there and back again alive, though, thanks to my mantra, 'Eyes Open While Driving'. I really hope the car's fixed by Conifur, though... it's a much longer drive. Current Mood: hot
Is there anything better than driving down the highway at night, with the windows open?
I just got back from seeing Spirited Away
, a Miyazaki flick that for once *didn't* involve hours of boring junk between the good parts. It was worth driving into Seattle to see (although I only went because I discovered that the theater showing it was only a block away from the one place to park I know in the entire city), and even worth listening to the vaguely nauseating small talk of the college students and intellectuals who made up the rest of the audience.
There was a part near the beginning where I couldn't resist making Hamtaro noises, though. Hif hif! Current Mood: giddy
