I woke up this morning, and wanted to go back to bed. I've got a cold, and had taken medication for it in the middle of the night, and so was still sort of hung over.
But today was the RPGA game day that only happens once a month, so, after some deliberation, I slithered to my car and staggered down the freeway to the U-district to play a couple rounds of Living Force.
It was pretty fun, although my character was COMPLETELY REDUNDANT. The first game in particular (out of two) was basically 'Jedis, do your thing, everyone else... um... well, don't get in the way'. And in the second game there was a 'dark side' test that my character (not being a jedi) failed miserably, and at the end I found out that everyone who passed got a FRICKING PERMANENT STAT POINT.
As if I wasn't bitter enough about the way they gutted the Scoundrel in revised. I mean, it's not like it wasn't obvious what was going on, but I figured I'd be in character and all, and it wouldn't really matter since I was just doing stun damage... to have something like that thrown in my face made me want to find the asshole who wrote the module and... er... maybe I should stop here, before I start making threats or something. Current Mood: bitchy
